Tarryton City University
Tarryton is very proud of it’s local college, Tarryton City University.
The campus is located an hour outside of the city limits in the beautiful lush countryside.
The university boasts twelve buildings, all of which are geared toward making a sims university experience not only memorable, but worthwhile.

Dorm life
Three of the campus buildings are free student dorms. These residences are usually inhabited by freshmen, sophomores and low income students.
As you advance in your education you may want to take advantage of several other residence options.
Aside from the dorms there are low cost off-campus housing. Though not the most nicest of places to live, it does afford one more privacy and freedom then the dorms.

Low Cost Student Housing
If one is lucky, or well off, they can move directly into a student housing unit, bypassing the dorms entirely. Of course early registration is necessary as some of these residences get filled up quickly.
These housing units are generally reserved for families and students in “special” circumstances.

Alpha Phi Beta Greek House
Another option in student housing is the campus greek houses. The Alpha Tarry Beta house has a large three story brick building on campus. After successfully becoming a member you must apply to move in and be accepted by the house board and president for admission.
Not all members are able to reside in the house due to space limitations, but the more valuable you are as a member the better. A little schmoozing never hurt.
The other buildings on campus are dedicated to both social and academic advancement.

Campus Coffee House
The local coffee house is guaranteed to give you that extra energy boost so you can get in a few more hours of studying, or partying. The free wi-fi is a bonus as not all dorms have computer access. You can also make a quick buck busing tables and pouring Java as they are always hiring.

Campus Grocery
The campus music hall boasts a top of the line sound system and stage for those occasional live performances. A great place to flex your creativity and get in some free practice and critique. Watch out for flying tomatoes if you suck though, the hall is located right next door to the local grocery store and there’s always a not so fresh supply of produce to choose from.

Campus Pool Hall
The pool hall is a fun spot to hang out. If you need a place for a cheap date or just want to make a few bucks, you can come here and hustle a little pool or graba drink at the bar. Special rates apply for students.

The Lake
During the weekends most of the students head down to the lake for a bit of R&R.
Whether you want to stay inside and get cozy by the fire or take a hike through the trees, this spot has something for everyone. More often then not you can find a group or two enjoying the fresh air lakeside chatting and drinking with friends, with the occasional couple drifting off into the relative privacy of the trees .
Make sure you wear plenty of bug spray, the mosquitoes love tasty young flesh.
For the more studious sim, the campus library, and student union is a welcome spot to get that 4.0 GPA. There vast array of books and state of the art computer reference center makes getting top grades a breeze. Socializing with others at the Student union is a must as well.
